Mayer, Fundamentals of Voice and Diction, l3th edition COURSE GOAL: To increase the effectiveness of your voice and speech by working to develop a speaking voice which is pleasant, unobtrusive, easily heard, flexible, expressive, intelligible, and clear. The course will include theory and practice in the following areas: 1. The process of speech production 2. Breathing for speech 3. Volume and projection 4. Resonance 5. Speech quality 6. Expressiveness 7.
