SB 34 HCS retains the provisions of the bill as it passed the Senate and makes the following changes: · In Section 1, redefines the term "Client" to clarify that the term means an individual who "contracts with" a licensed home inspector instead of an individual who "hires or seeks to hire" a licensed home inspector. · In Section 3, Subsection (2)(a)3.d., modifies the membership of the Kentucky Board of Home Inspectors to allow 2 of the members to be either at-large licensed home inspectors, or owners or managers of a home inspection company actively performing inspections within the Commonwealth of Kentucky, instead of just at-large licensed home inspectors. · In Section 3, Subsection (2)(b)4., modifies the membership of the Kentucky Board of Home Inspectors to delete "certified inspector" from the categories of retailers or installers that would be considered for appointment to the Board.

These changes have no fiscal impact.
