Outdoor Fife Mountain Biking Route Cards – Your Chance to Get Involved

Fife has some of the best family cycling routes and off-road trails in the whole of Scotland – and over the next few years, the value of people coming to our area who use a bike as part of their visit will grow rapidly. The Outdoor Fife Group is keen that businesses in the area are able to take full advantage of this, and also to ensure these visitors have the best possible experience, encouraging them to come back year after year. As part of this, we are producing a series of off-road cycling route cards, featuring recommended rides around Fife. On these cards, we will feature Fife businesses that welcome cyclists, and are able to offer services, goods or facilities of particular value to them. For instance:  coffee shops or restaurants who don't mind catering for wet or muddy customers  bike hire outlets  hardware shops who stock a limited range of spares  specialist suppliers of goods and services to cyclists

If you would like to participate in this initiative, please complete the short form attached. Once we receive all responses, we will allocate your business to appear on the route cards closest to your local area:

 Outdoor Fife Cycling Friendly Business: businesses who welcome cyclists and offer a range of services, goods or facilities relevant to them. These businesses will be featured on route cards (printed and online) relevant to their local area. The benefits to your business will be:  Your business will be promoted on the Fife route cards.  If the scheme is successful we can promote the area as having a large number of cycling friendly businesses increasing the marketing potential.  You will be able to use the Outdoor Fife logo on your marketing materials.  You will receive updates on all innovations to improve your business.  You may be able to receive funding to upgrade your facilities to be more cyclist friendly eg installation of bike racks To ensure your business is represented on the route cards you must return the completed form by Friday 6th December and be registered with the Partnership, there is currently NO COST to be involved, although this may be reviewed in future years.

We welcome bikers on our premises at all times even if they are wet and muddy YES / NO
