Now that you have reviewed things about creating advertisements, you are going to CREATE A MAGAZINE AD FOR A TOY COMPANY
You are working for the SAS Toy Store. Much like FAO Schwarz Toy store in New York---lots of different types of toys. http://www.fao.com/home/index.jsp if you want to see the real store. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Toy_companies This web site has a long list of different toy companies. Spend a moment reviewing the different companies. Pick a company and then a toy from that company.
A good ad includes a headline, copy (story about product,), illustration (picture) and logo of company. You are to create an ad for that chosen toy.
1. Use the computer, clip art, pictures from the web site, word art, anything to help you create your ad. Use lines, borders, autoshapes, explore more autoshapes.
2. Use color in your ad
3. Apply different type styles
4. Include at least two pictures
5. Include the company name and the name of the toy
6. Write a slogan (the catch words in an ad that stand out) for the company or the toy you are advertising
7. Include a story/words about your product—talk about your product’s special features, unique characteristics, etc
8. You might want to review ads in the magazines or go on line to see an ad your toy company has created.
9. Include the web site of the toy/company you used at the bottom of the ad.
10. Remember your name.
11. Print in color.
