We recognize the importance of promoting and valuing the diversity of cultural expressions, as an instrument for the promotion of social cohesion that strengthens sustainable economic development and contributes to the reduction of poverty among our nations. We reaffirm the essential role of cultural diversity as a source of creativity and innovation, and as an engine for the creation of employment.
