Pretérito - Apuntes - Repaso

Preterite: - Past actions with a definite beginning or end. - Completed actions in the past. - Often you can pinpoint the action on a calendar. - Actions that were part of a chain of events. - Actions repeated a specific number of times or during a specific period of time. - Beginning or end of an action. - MANY IRREGULAR VERBS!!!

Common words/phrases that trigger the preterite… ayer, anteayer, anoche, al año pasado, la semana pasada, el verano pasado, el sábado pasado, a las ocho de la tarde, el lunes, a las nueve, etc… (Basically, anything that lets you know that the action began and ended at a specific time.)

(Regular) AR Endings:

CAR / GAR / ZAR Verbs: (Irregular  Yo forms…)
