Dear Chapter President,

We cordially invite your chapter members to join Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Wilmington (DE) Alumnae Chapter for a Prayer Breakfast that will be held on Saturday, May 23, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. Our speaker will be Soror Cynthia M. A. Butler McIntyre, 24th National President. The ticket cost is $50 person. The breakfast is a fundraiser for Jabberwock 2015. Delta Outreach and Education Center, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization, in partnership with Wilmington Alumnae, sponsor Jabberwock. The theme for Jabberwock 2015 is “Girls Rising…Living Life Like It’s Golden” and the goal is to grant $115,000 in scholarships and other awards at the culminating event on November 21, 2015.

Wilmington (DE) Alumnae has provided exemplary service to the New Castle County Delaware community for more than 65 years. Currently, we have over 280 chapter members. Typically, Jabberwock is presented biennially, as a scholarship and personal development program, open to high school junior and senior young ladies. Activities begin in earnest in May and proceed until November. The personal development component provides learning opportunities for the Jabberwock participants in the areas of cultural enrichment, career exploration, team building, leadership development training and community service.
