Harvest Choral Evensong: 6pm next Sunday 24th September, followed by light refreshments. The ‘St Alban’s Singers’: our organist Charles is proposing to establish a ‘gathered’ choir of local singers which will be based at S Alban’s and meet here on Tuesdays, beginning at 8pm on 3rd October. You will need to be able to read or willing to learn music. Full details are on the noticeboard. Ladies Group: will meet for the first time after Mass on Wednesday 27th September to discuss plans for organising a regular time of fellowship. Please speak to Kath Wylde after Mass if you are interested. Sunday School: a reminder that all children from aged 5 are welcome to attend Sunday School with Erica and Sophie. Walsingham 2018: after a very happy and successful Pilgrimage to Walsingham earlier this month, we have booked for the weekend of Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September in 2018. Next year we plan to have a coach with a lavatory and to include Sunday ‘Afternoon Tea’ in the itinerary, both of which will slightly increase the cost. To secure our booking and the coach we need to have a £30 deposit per person by Sunday 1st October. To make the Pilgrimage viable there will be a standard cost for all, regardless of travel arrangements. Please see Gwen Dodkins or Fr Stuart if you are able to come.
