BE PREPARED TO RUN EARLY! Welcome to the 2017 Cub Invitational Team Tournament Rules and Information

7:30 am Coach’s check-in (Assembly Center) (If you don’t play the first match, then please see me before playing your first game).

8:00 am Pool play begins  Two Pools (round robin format); Pool play will consist of 2 – 25 points games using rally scoring with a cap @27.  Flip for serve and side  Each team will have one 60 second timeout per game.  Tie breakers: o 2 Way - 1)Head to Head 2) Fewest points allowed. o 3 Way - 1)Head to Head 2) Fewest points allowed. 3) Coin toss  A 5 minute warm-up time will be allowed before your first match. We will open another gym on campus for warm-ups for later matches.  Be prepared to play 30 minutes early. Championship Bracket  Matches start immediately following pool play.  Matches consist of best 2 out of 3 – 25 point games with a cap @27 on the first two games. The third game is a 15 point game with no cap.  Flip for serve and side.  1 – 60 second time out per game.

* Trophies will be given to teams for 1st and 2nd Place * Please make sure your team maintains a clean bench area.

GYM RULES  Only water is allowed in the gym.  We will have a concession stand in our Assembly Center.
