Dear Honorary Secretary/Golfing Society

Thank you for booking your Society Golf meeting at Banbridge Golf Club. We can assure you of a challenging game over a surprisingly testing course. Please try to arrive at the Club in good time. You will be met by a representative of the Club or shop who will complete the administrative arrangements with you and give you information on the course and any local rules that may be in operation.

In order that your outing runs successfully, we would ask you to ensure that you have followed the guidance in this brochure concerning the confirmation of arrangements with the Club and the Caterer. An Application for Society Outing sheet is attached and should be returned to the Club immediately with your £50.00 Deposit. The Catering Slip should be returned two weeks prior to your visit.

Sample menus and costs are included in this brochure. If you wish to make alternative or specific catering requests, please contact the Caterer directly (Tel. 028 4066 2211 menu option 1).

For your own convenience, we would ask you to adhere strictly to the tee times which have been allotted to your group. If you need to alter the numbers playing or wish to change to a different tee time, please inform the Club at least one week before playing. Tee times can often be altered or extended on week days but it is extremely unlikely that alternative times can be arranged on Sundays. Please check with the Golf Shop (028 40 626189) to ensure that the course is playable in the event of inclement weather.

I hope you have a very enjoyable outing at Banbridge Golf Club.

Yours sincerely

Noel McSherry Captain BANBRIDGE GOLF CLUB 116 Huntly Road • Banbridge • Co Down • BT32 3UR

1. Mechanical golf buggies will be permitted on the course during the playing season, Mondays-Fridays inclusive, subject to the condition of the course.

2. The time of play will have to coincide with ground staff working hours, usually 8am-5pm, as the gates necessary for transversing the road will be locked after ground staff leave.
