6. Open Space

 It was suggested that the windows in the waiting room should be kept open to improve circulation. The surgery will work to ensure that the windows and/or doors are open more often (weather permitting).  Surgery appointment cards are to be updated to include the new surgery email address ([email protected]). This is to ensure that as many patients as possible have access to it.

 The group enquired about services that were supposed to be set up in the community (e.g. cardiology). Not all are up and running; the group will be notified of any changes/ progress.

 The group discussed how useful they found the patient participation meetings and what they hoped to achieve through them. The group members felt that there was not enough time between meetings. It was therefore decided that meetings will be held every four months.

 A member of the group suggested that they would like to have more information on GP budgets and how they were allocated. Learning materials on this topic will be distributed at the next meeting.

7. Next meeting The next  To be held at 2pm on Thursday 4th September 2014, at meeting Willesden Green Surgery. has been moved to  Wafa Hadi to chair the next meeting. Thursday 18th September.
