. Myrtle Beach Police Department in Myrtle Beach, SC on January 11-13, 2010
Question: How do I become certified as a 9-1-1 Instructor, EMD Instructor and a Fire Communications Instructor during the same 3-day course?
Answer: The “Instructor Techniques” portion of all three courses includes: Understanding the Adult Learner; Classroom Management; and Presentation Techniques. Since this 1/2 –day portion of the course is identical for all three instructor- level courses; it is a duplication of valuable class time to re-attend a class with the same information. The instructor candidates spend the next 2 ½ days make check-off presentations from any or all of the basic certification courses including 9-1-1 Officer, EMD and Fire Communications Officer national certification courses.
TUITION
Single instructor certification - $495, Dual instructor certification - $495 for the first and $295 for the second (total of $790), or Triple instructor certification - $495 for the first, $295 for the second, and $195 for the third (total of $985).
