A Reminder Students That You Can Purchase Your Yearbook Online for $70

News from Guidance: Scholarship information is posted on the school’s website under the Student Services Department. Seniors, please check this site on a regular basis for updated scholarship info. The JP Knapp scholarship application has been emailed to all seniors. The application and your parent’s most recent tax returns are due to Ms. Casper by Feb. 23rd. The State Employees Credit Union Scholarship application is available now in guidance. The due date is Mar. 29th. The Senior letter has been updated recently as well. Please stop by the office and get you a copy.

Are you interested in pursuing a career in teaching? Planning to attend Elon, UNC/Chapel Hill, UNC/Charlotte, Meredith College, or NC State? For the first time in several years, North Carolina is reinstating the Teaching Fellows Scholarship Program for the 2018-2019 school year. This prestigious scholarship offers up to $8,250 a year for up to 4 years. If you are interested, please see your guidance counselor or visit the guidance webpage.

Students: Currituck Tennis will sponsor indoor tennis lessons beginning Jan. 13th. The lessons are open to all students, regardless of age, ability, or previous experience. The lessons will be taught in the gym at Moyock Elementary and Jarvisburg Elementary. Registration forms are available in the office if you are interested.

The DECA Club will be hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Jan. 10th and 11th. Sign ups have already started and will continue through Jan. 5th. The cost is $5 to play and $1 to wathc the tournament. There is a table set up in the lobby during powertime if you are interested in signing up to play!

Our wrestling team will be at Ocean Lakes High School in Va. Beach the 21st and 22nd. The Holiday Basketball Tournaments will be held Dec. 27th-30th. The boys will play at Pasquotank and the girls will play at Boo Williams Sportsplex.
