ALL CLUBS, the next Presidents’ Round Table meeting is Wednesday, October 7th, 8:30 am, Room 126. Don’t be late! Get your date! Homecoming Dance Tickets on Sale during Lunch October 5-14! You MUST have your ID and the ID or the a copy of the APPROVED Out-of-School Guest Form of your DATE to buy your ticket or tickets. Forms for out-of-school guests due to Room 201 by October 12th. Join us at Gatsby’s Homecoming Dance, October 17th, 8 pm-11 pm, in the Main Commons! LIMITED Number of Tickets will be SOLD! The key word is ID. Your $20 for District 4 Conference Registration is DUE to Ms. Whitbeck, Room 101. MAGIC club is back! Forms are due September 25th. The Blood Drive is September 24th, from 8:30-2:30. See Ms. Smith in Room 312. The key word is Interact. See Ms. Whitbeck after school and tell her the key word. Clubs, elect your Homecoming dukes and duchesses. Have your pictures made in Room 101 during lunch by October 5th. Forms are due by October 5th.

Effective immediately, NAC ISD Transportation Department will provide a bus to shuttle students from the stadium parking lot to the main campus during bad weather. The bus will run from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Braggin’ Dragon

Congratulations on strong showings from the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams at the SFA and Hallsville meets. The Boys were led by Eduardo Acosta, Pedro Garcia, Ulices Meza, and Bryan Carballo. The Girls were led by Denis Alonso and Ashuur Ramirez. Top times from the 5k were Eduardo Acosta with an 18:15 and Pedro Garcia with a 19:26. Denis Alonso and Ashuur Ramirez clocked in at 24:05 and 24:47 respectively.
