Religion 9 Final Project

***Religion 9 Final Project*** Due Date: May 23, 2016 100 Points

Projects are intended to be created like a scrapbook of sorts, with at least one page dedicated to the categories below. You can do this project in an actual scrapbook, or you can compile everything in a binder, or create a book. You can type things in a paragraph or you can illustrate them visually and with words…Be creative!!!

If you choose to draw something to comprise one of the categories, you also need to explain it briefly in words (the collage page is the one exception). Feel free to include graphics, song lyrics, pictures, or anything else fun that makes you….You.

Cover Page: Come up with a fun title for your book. Include the title, your name, and a fun, appropriate picture of yourself.

Page 1: What are your interests? What do you love? Why? What have you learned about yourself throughout your first year of high school?

Page 2: What did you end up learning in Religion 9? What did you learn about Jesus, God, you faith…? You can sum up the entire year!

Page 3: Create a collage that encompasses who you are as a person. Include adjectives that describe how you see yourself, how your parents see you, how your friends see you, and how God might see you.

Page 4: Pick a famous person with a quote that you live by. Illustrate this quote in some way, and explain why these are words that you’ve chosen to live by. How do they apply to your daily life? (think about the beautitudes)

Page 5: Goals/Vocation—what do you want to do after high school? What do you want to study in college? What is life giving to you? What do you want to do beyond college? What needs to happen to make your goals a reality? (What do you need to do, and in what ways do you need support?)

Page 6: Choose ONE chapter and Reflect on why it was important to you as a person—be specific. (think about how it can help you grow as a person)
