Want to Move??? Base of Preference (BOP) – Choice of up to 8 bases 1. First Term Airman a. Choices of CONUS TO CONUS BOP, Overseas to CONUS BOP or In-place BOP (IPBOP) b. Must apply before reenlistment c. Earliest to apply can be with CJR or retraining 4yr enlistee 35 TAFMSD 6yr enlistee 59 TAFMSD d. PCS BOP must have 12 months time on station (TOS) e. No TOS requirements for IPBOP (Stay at Tinker) -2 year assignment deferment f. Go to Outbound Assignments at the MPF to apply 2. Career Airman a. IPBOP or CONUS TO CONUS BOP b. Must have 41 months TOS at the time of application and at least 4 years TOS before PCS departure c. Must not be an overseas volunteer or have other volunteer applications pending d.
