COURSE OF FIRE: 100 yards at paper targets Sight-in, 5 minutes unlimited sights (not seconds). 10 Rounds – Standing off hand, Slow fire, 20 minutes. Target #SR1 10 Rounds – Sitting from Standing, Rapid fire, 60 seconds, must reload. Target #SR1 10 Rounds – Prone from Standing, Rapid fire, 70 seconds, must reload. Target #kSR21 20 Rounds – Prone from Standing, Slow fire, 10 minutes. Target #MR31 50 Rounds – for score/qualification FIREARMS: Any safe center-fire rifle, .22 or larger, equipment with iron sights (no optical sights). Your rifle must be capable of rapid and rapid reloading via clip loading or magazine change. Enfields, M1 Garands, M1As, M1 Carbines, AR-15s, Ruger mini-14s, Remington 740, 742, 760, etc. Bolt Action and Lever Action acceptable. The rifle must be a rifle shooting a rifle cartridge. You must reload during the rapid fire courses. REQUIREMENTS FOR PURCHASING OF THE M1 GARAND: 1. You must fire a total of 50 rounds in one (1) match. You will receive a document stating to the fact that you have completed one-50 round course of fire in an approved instructional High Power Rifle Match. 2. You must be 18 years of age or older. 3. You must be a United States Citizen. 4. You must belong to a CMP affiliated club. The Yolo Sportsmen’s Association and the California Rifle & Pistol Association are CMP affiliated clubs. The NRA is not a CMP affiliated club. AWARDS: This match is for fun, experience and qualification. Certificate of Achievement will be given to ALL shooters. Recognition of high score will be awarded. ON THE DAY OF THE SHOOT: July 14, 2012 Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. All shooters must attend a safety and instruction school at 8:30 a.m., sharp.
