Local senior resource center or city/county recreation center These venues are often a good ‘first stop’ for identifying local alternative transportation resources beyond the regional public transportation system, e.g., small non-profit and service organizations that provide transportation support. Many of these centers have classes on accessing alternative transportation and some also have classes on driving wellness.

Delivery services, e.g., for groceries and medications. Many grocery stores and pharmacies deliver.
Activities that meet quality of life needs but can happen in or very close to home, e.g., gardening instead of book club meetings; hosting social and family gatherings at own home.
