Yoga

Every Wednesday from 6:30-7:45pm Park Street Church 10 East Park Place NE Grand Rapids, MI 49503 (Adjacent to the Grand Rapids Main Library)

Come celebrate life by experiencing your body, mind and heart through the ancient practice of yoga. Together we explore yoga poses, and learn breathing techniques in a fun, safe environment. Meet in the Spindler Dining Room. Bring your mat or borrow one of ours. No need to register.

Sit and Be Fit

Every Thursday 10– 11am GR International Fellowship, 3765 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids 49508 Join this drop in fitness class as a step to getting active and staying healthy! Learn from certified YMCA instructors on how to work your body’s muscle groups while sitting and take what you learn to apply it at home! ______Hip Hop Holy Yoga

No registration necessary, this is a drop in class. Spiritually focused yoga to hip-hop beats. There will be children’s activities available for children up to age 12 including art, coloring and homework help as needed. ______Holy Yoga

This is a nutrition education program that teaches families how to make healthy food selections on a budget. This class provides helpful resources including books and recipes to try at home. This is a six week class, and therefore, participants are encouraged to attend all 6 classes. After the second class, new participants will not be accepted as each class builds upon the class before it. ______
