Anjeli Ltd is a Tea Broking firm which was formed in 1989. It was the First African owned Company to Trade as a Tea Broker.
LOCATION
Anjeli Limited is conveniently located in the Centre of Mombasa Island, on Nkrumah Road. This Office location provides easy access to all Tea Buyers, other Brokers and Warehousemen, The EATTA, The Kenya Ports Authority, Banks and other Associates involved in the Tea Industry.
SERVICES
Anjeli Ltd provides the following services to its Producers Clients;-
- Weekly Tasting Reports of Producers Teas. - Weekly Valuation Reports of Producers Teas. - Delivery of Pre-Auction Samples to prospective Buyers. - Making follow up with the buyers regarding Tea improvement on the Tea quality on weekly basis. - Auctioning of producers teas at the EATTA. - Advising the producer on the market preference. - Sale confirmation of the Auction. - Providing the producer with Market Reports. - Providing the producer with Account Sales. - Follow up on payments from buyers on behalf of the producer to the Electronic Bill Board payment sytem. - Making payments to warehousemen and any other parties as instructed by the producer. - Payment of balance sale proceeds to the producer by prompt date. (Bank to Bank transfer within 10 working days after the auction) to none participating producers to the centralized payment system. - Sourcing for packaging materials and fertilizer on behalf of the producers if requested.
Providing the producer with periodic statistics on the performance of their teas in the Auction. Visiting the Producers Factory periodically in the company of Buyers, to discuss quality with a view of making recommendations for any improvements that may be deemed necessary.
We also do periodical visits to factories accompanied by buyers to :-
1. Attend Board , management and brokers meeting to deliberate on how to improve and make our factories better in quality and realization of better prices. The buyer is also able to give a clear indication of the market preference hence our reason to take the buyer with us. 2. Whenever there is a field day for the growers, we attend the meetings again accompanied by one or two buyers to assist the Directors and Management to advise the growers of good plucking standard and crop husbandry. 3. We also attend joint buying centres committee meetings to be able to advise the officials on good plucking standard and post harvest handling. We also advise the officials on market preference and the way to good prices in the Mombasa Auctions. 4. We normally ask for an annual calendar of events to enable us prepare and get buyers to attend the meetings. This we do always accompanied by a member of the buying fraternity.

1. Make periodic trip to inspect the factory. 2. Bring buyers to advise on market dynamics and preference. 3. Attend field days and buying centre committee meeting. 4. Do weekly report on muster and catalogued teas pertaining to quality.

COPMUTERISATION
All systems in the Company are completely computerized. Therefore, we are able to send out the following details after the Auction.
- Buyers invoicing. - Production of the Catalogue. - Offloading of the Catalogue to the EATTA Website. - Delivery Orders. - Account Sales. - Sale confirmation. - Other related tea statistics.
We confirm that (i) Auction prices will be available to our producer by the end of the Auction Day.
(ii) Tasting reports will be available to the Producer by the end of the week. All the above reports will be forwarded to the producer by email.
BANKERS
All our Tea transactions and Tea proceeds transfer are handled by our Bankers who are CFC STANBIC BANK (K) LD and CITI BANK.
