Special Guest Speaker Zuhdi Jasser, MD

Dr. Zasser is a frequent commentator on CNN and Fox News on foreign policy as it relates to Islamists and Jihadists such as ISIS. A practicing Muslim himself, Dr. Zasser has been an advocate of the separation of mosque and state, and a vocal and brave critic of those who resort to extreme or violent measures in the name of religion.

Dr. Jasser practices internal medicine and nuclear cardiology in Phoenix, Arizona. He has been an AMA Delegate for many years, where his moderate voice has garnered the respect and admiration of UMA President B. Dee Allred and President-elect Bill Hamilton. In 2003, with a group of American Muslims, Jasser founded the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD) based in Phoenix, Arizona, and in 2004 he was one of the founders of the Center for Islamic Pluralism.
