Criteria for 7th Grade Math Placement: 1. ERB Quantitative Reasoning score 2. ERB Mathematics score 3. Orleans Hanna Algebra Prognosis Test 4. Academic Maturity 5. Teacher Recommendation Please note, the most important criteria is that your child be placed in a course that is appropriately challenging for his/her ability. Beginning with Algebra I, students will be recommended by their teachers for either Honors or College Preparatory classes. Students may move from Honors to College Preparatory classes or from College Preparatory classes to Honors on an individual basis with teacher recommendation.
