NOTES: (1): Approximate distance in Monceau Yard based on previous observations. (2): Line 251 to Charbonages Anderlues has no KM posts. Estimation calculated accurate to +/- 100m (3): Line 150 to Aisemont has no KM posts. The former station at Aisemont is shown as 5.6 KM from Tamines and the site of Aisemont station is approx 300m beyond where the tour stopped. (4): Line 138 to Acoz has no KM posts. According to an official source, the line is shown as lifted beyond Bouffioulx (No that’s not Buffy in French!) although clearly it is not the case. Denzil informed me that B.K. 4.500 refers to a KM post distance which would tie in with the fact that we went well beyond Bouffioulx (2.4 KM) but never reached anywhere near Acoz (6.0 KM). On that basis I have taken Mercia’s KM distance to be fairly close to the mark and have used that distance for this branch. @ - 1602 Masquerades as 202020.

All distances are based on observations by myself over the years and on the tour itself except where noted above. The overall distances for the 51 and the AFB should be accurate to about +/- 500m, all shunters distances are accurate to +/- 100m. If anyone disagrees then they can work it out for themselves on the next tour then!
