For over 45 years, Giorgi Kitchens & Designs has been recognized as one of Delaware’s most prestigious design firms, specializing in complete kitchen renovation/new construction projects and complete master bath renovation/new construction. We are proud of our history of serving the Brandywine Valley under the leadership of the Giorgi Family.

 Company History

In 1960 Joe Giorgi, Sr., an experienced finish carpenter, founded Giorgi Kitchens and a few years later his brother, Pete, joined the adventure. The Giorgi brothers built the company on a strong work ethic, family values and a sense of community. Since then, Giorgi Kitchens has become synonymous with beautiful custom designed kitchens.

Today, four decades after Joe, Sr. founded the business with his brother Pete, Sr., there are four second generation Giorgi’s continuing the tradition including his sons, Joseph, Jr. and Thomas managing the firm. With the help of a professional design team, Giorgi Kitchens continues to maintain their prestigious reputation. Their work has received national acclaim in design competitions sponsored by The National Kitchen and Bath Association, Sub-Zero/Wolf, Heritage Custom Cabinetry and Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry and can be seen in kitchens around the area such as the Winterthur Museum in Wilmington, Delaware and the Inn Keeper’s kitchen at The Dilworthtown Inn in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Because of the customization of each project, Giorgi Kitchens & Designs combines knowledge and artistry to produce various styles of kitchens, baths and fitted furniture – creating the rooms of their clients’ dreams. Whether it is Old World Tuscan inspired or a sanctuary to the modern-day chef, Giorgi Kitchens & Designs truly is “where classic meets contemporary”.

 What We Do

Giorgi Kitchens & Designs specializes in complete kitchen renovations/new construction projects and complete master bathroom renovation/new construction projects. We work within an approximate 20-mile range of our showroom – stretching down the Delaware beach communities and New Jersey shore.

Because of the custom nature of our work and the small size of our family-owned business, we are unable to offer service around repair or refacing of cabinetry, small bathroom projects or partial kitchen projects.

 The Planning Process

For clients who are new to the Giorgi organization, the planning process generally begins with a visit to our showroom during afternoon business hours to review the products and services we offer. We also ask that you call ahead for to schedule an appointment with a designer to discuss both the challenges of the room under development, as well as the estimated budget for the undertaking.

After your visit to our showroom, a jobsite inspection is scheduled to review your needs, discuss conceptual design solutions and identify a budget range.
