[4289] 2 1 Whereas, in a sport that requires skill, strength, and strategy, Head 2 Coach Tim Collins and his fine coaching staff used their own 3 athletic ability and training to forge a championship team, teaching 4 lessons that will prove invaluable to these fine athletes throughout 5 life both on and off the diamond; and 6 7 Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of 8 Representatives are grateful for the pride and recognition that the 9 Abbeville High School softball players have brought to their 10 school and to their community through this achievement and 11 expect to hear of their future accomplishments. Now, therefore, 12 13 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives: 14 15 That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of 16 South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and honor the 17 Abbeville High School softball team for an outstanding season, 18 and congratulate the team and coaches for garnering the 2011 19 Class A State Championship title. 20 21 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to 22 Principal Dr. Steve Glenn and Coach Tim Collins. 23 XX 24
