Kindergarten Orientation ~ 2015 - 2016

August 24th Kindergarten Parent Orientation ~ 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM This meeting is for parents only. Students do not attend this meeting. The meeting will take place in your child’s classroom. It is a time for the teacher to present the kindergarten program to the parents including classroom policy, expectations, procedures and all pertinent information. The purpose of this meeting is to form a partnership between parent and teacher in order to get our kindergarteners off to a good start to the beginning of their formal education. At this meeting you will be asked for your child’s bus numbers. The bus numbers are sometimes different in the morning than in the afternoon dismissal. Therefore, please verify the correct bus numbers for your child. This is very important as we want to be assured that all children are placed on the correct bus and arrive home safely. On this evening please bring in your child’s class supplies. This just makes the first day of school run smoother. Questions and answers will be welcomed and hopefully parents will have a clearer picture of Kindergarten at Saint Alexis School.

August 26th is the First Day of school ~ for all Kindergarten students. It will be a regular school day. The students should wear their school uniform on this day. Feel free to walk your child to the classroom in the morning, but please remember this is not the time to conference with the teacher. We look forward to sharing your child’s educational and spiritual growth this school year.
