III. Questions

 S. Byrne – stated she finally started getting some participation on the P/D community.

 C. Bailey asked if there will be a way for non-ONS members, who are experts in a topic, to join in the conversation on the community. D. Scheuring stated these are considered security groups and is trying to find the best way to include them as the need arises.

 J. Sellers stated someone shared that a posting asking about sharing an epic tool for capturing outcomes and have over 30 conversations with members throughout the country.  D. Burbage asked if we heard from anyone who was looking for a topic that was previously a SIG but now not a community. D. Scheuring shared that she heard from a couple regarding the NP and the Breast Care. They were encouraged to participate/post on the “ALL ONS Member Community” site.

 K. Brassil shared that a colleague was doing a survey and wanted to know if the survey link could be included on the Immunology Community and encourage them to participate in the survey. This was pre- determined that surveys could not be posted on the ONS Communities – there are other avenues that members/non-members can use through ONS to get their surveys out.

 D. Burbage reminded attendees that if they wanted to have an informal networking session at Congress 2017 with their Community – they need to respond back by March 14th, 2017. Their informal networking session will be promoted on the communities.

 D. Scheuring shared that Congress 2017 is still evolving and there will no longer be a parade at opening ceremonies as at previous Congresses. There will be non-clinical conversation starters at the booth at Congress. K. Walsh and D. Scheuring will do an update on communities presentation at Congress in one of the theaters in the Exhibit Hall.

 D. Scheuring stated there will be a Next Steps meeting next week to talk about the communities and further opportunities (i.e. rolling out to chapters), etc.
