Try This Conference: Join “The Conference Team!”

1. Where and when is the conference? The conference is held on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon from Friday June 3rd to Saturday June 4th.

1. How much does it cost to attend? It costs $100 to attend the conference, but admission and housing is free for Conference Team members

2. How far in advance do I have to be there? The Conference Team is in Buckhannon two days before the conference to help set up, then help operate the conference. (June 1st – June 4th).

3. Where will I stay? The team stays on campus in the West Virginia Wesleyan College dorms free of charge.

4. Who are the members of The ConferenceTeam? Most are VISTA workers, public health students, and college students. Most are between 18 and 24.

5. What will I be doing? Conference Team members are involved in just about every aspect of the conference. They:  Monitor break-out rooms (can indicate a preference or special interest)  Keep physical activity going on the green  Keep the social media humming  Help set up exhibits and tech  Lead rocking stretch breaks  Construct conference packets  Put up signs around campus and town  Whatever else is needed

6. What’s in it for me?  Make fantastic contacts from around the state  Get hands on experience with running the a statewide health conference  Learn a lot and have a blast  Get the opportunity to compete for mini grants for your community  Benefit from awesome workshops and demos
