Supplies: 15” Clothespin Glitter Foamie Sheets-Red/Blue and Black 1” Round Knob Acrylic Paint-Flesh Tone/Red 12mm Half Round Eyes Gold Trim Of Choice 2 –Thin Black Chenille Stems Mini Pom Poms Gloss Acrylic Varnish *Optional Paint Brush Hot Glue Ruler Scissors Wire Cutters
Instructions:
1. Paint top portion of the clothespin and the wood knob flesh tone. Use a dry brush technique to paint cheeks and the knob. Apply gloss varnish to the knob and let dry. 2. Glue knob onto center of the face for the nose. Cut shanks off of half round eyes and glue onto face. 3. Cut blue glitter Foamie 7.5”x3 ¼” for the pants, cut red glitter Foamie 3.5”x3 ¼” for the jacket and glue them onto the clothespin. *leave a ½” space between head and jacket. 4. Cut 2 -4”sections of gold trim and glue to front of jacket to form an X. Trim off any excess. 5. Cut a ½”x3 ¼” collar from black Foamie and glue between head and jacket. 6. Cut another piece ¾”x 3 ¼” for the shoes and glue onto clothespin. 7. Cut a 7.5”x3 ¼” section for the hat. Fold section in half and glue bottom edges together –glitter side out. Glue to the top ½” portion of the clothespin. Cut another piece 1”x3 ¼” for the brim. Round two of the edges on the brim with scissors. Glue straight edge of the brim just under hat –glitter side down. 8. Cut a black chenille stem 6 ¼” long for a chin strap. Bend and glue ends under the brim. 9. Glue a section of gold trim just above brim on the hat and 2 mini pom poms above trim on hat. 10. Glue 2 more pom poms to the jacket. Cut a 7” length of black chenille and glue down the center of the pants. *refer to photo
