Deliverable 1: Creating a video for peer review Your manager wants you to create a video for peer review.

Plan your approach Establish an approach for how you will create your videos using OBS software. That is, decide what steps you will need to complete to get to "done.” Be sure that you know what the characteristics of a "quality" deliverable are. Submit your deliverable

HINTS To successfully complete these deliverable you will need to:

1. Just do it. Creating the peer review video is easy once you have organized the flow on paper. 2. Don't procrastinate. Start right away. 3. Complete your peer review recording assignments before the next class session so you will be prepared to participate in, and get the most out of, each class session.

Plan your approach Establish an approach for how you will develop your personal website. That is, what steps will you need to complete to get to "done"?

Define "done," "quality" and "success" for your project deliverable. Develop a plan to complete the video recording. Remember that your recordings have been chosen to help you explain yourself better, so consider how you can use this recording. Develop a plan for designing and creating your recording. Develop a plan for submitting your recording. Ensure that you know how you are going to complete the required work in the allotted time, and how the deliverable's quality and success standards will be met. Make sure that your plans balance the work load across all of your activities during orientation and other commitments you may have. Don't wait until the last minute to get started.

These plans don't have to be difficult or time consuming. The goal is simply to be organized. So your plans should contain just enough information to help you know what "done" looks like, and help you stay organized.

Design your “Your Story” Video While your video recording is simple enough to design in your head, you may want to consider creating a model (possibly by creating a drawing by hand) what your video will look like so you can identify:

Steps for installing the OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) Software on your system Step 1: Open Google Chrome/Mozilla Browser and search for the “open broadcaster software free download”

Step 2: Select the https://obsproject.com/ website and click on “DOWNLOAD OBS STUDIO” option

Step 3: After clicking on the “DOWNLOAD OBS STUDIO” option, it will ask you about the OS (Operating System), please select Windows 7+ option.

Step 4: It will start downloading the Software

Step 5: Once downloading is complete

Step 6: Go to “Customize and control Google Chrome option – Right side of the browser

Step 7: It will display the download status

Step 8: Once downloading get complete please Click on “Show in Folder” option

Step 9: After clicking on the option it will take you the “Downloads” folder.

Step 10: Click on the “OBS-Studio-19.0.2-Full-Installer.exe” file and start installation.

Step 11: The below option will appear while installation:

Step 13: It will ask you for the installation of missing components.

Step 14: Click on Yes button, it will start installing the vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x86 components.

Step 15: It will take you the Microsoft website for installation of the missing components

Step 16: Click on “Download” option

Step: 17: It will ask you to Choose the download you want

Select the required 2 options and click on next button.

Step 18: It will start saving the required 2 files on your computer for installation.

Step 18: Once the download gets complete ,click on the .exe files and install the components on your system.

Step 19: It will start installing on your system.

Below is the screen shot:

Click on “OBS-Studio-19.0.2-Full-Installer” exe and start installation.

Step 21: Click on Next button:

Step 22: Select “I Agree” option and

Step 22: Choose default Installation Location:

 OBS Studio (By default selected)

Carter | Radley Copyright 2017 Step 25: It will show you the below screen while installation , click on next and do click on next button every time. It will take more than 10 min for entire installation.

Step 26: It will show you the below setup message: Then click on “Finish” button.

Congratulations!!!

Finally you have installed the OBS studio software on your system.

Step 1: Please check the below OBS Studio Icon on desktop :

If you don't see the above icon on desktop, please check through below path:

Window Run

 Search “OBS Studio”

 Select “OBS Studio (64 Bit) software

Step 2: Once you open the software it will show you the below screen:

Step 4: Name the scene :

Step 5: Please click + Sign on “Sources” tab:

Always Add below Sources for recording your video and desktop sharing/presentations:

 Add “Audio Input Capture” source ( For Capturing the audio)

 Add Video Capture Device (After adding this course , your web-cam will operate and you will see yourself on the screen).

 Add Display Capture option. (It will display the screen)

 Select other options based on your recording requirements.

Step 6: Adjust your Web-cam window to fit into the screen. As per below scree shot:

Right click on the same window and select “Lock Preview” option. It will lock your settings.

Step 7: Once you set your Scene and Screens start “Click on “Transmission” button which is available in between the two screens.

Step 8: After clicking on this button both the screens will display your current screens.

Step 9: Then click on “Start Recording” button for recording your activity.

Step 10: Once you complete your recording. Click on the “Stop Recording” button.

 Go to “File” option on OBS Software screen, click “Show Recordings” option, it will show your recordings: (You can change the names of the recordings accordingly your activity).

 Please select your latest recording to play it. If its does not work, please check your settings again.

With this software you can also records the below activities: (All these options are available in “Sources”

1) Color Source

2) Game Capture (You can capture your games while playing)

3) Image

4) Image Slide Shows

5) Media source

6) Text while recordings

7) Scene Etc.

Submit your Video Make sure you know: When your deliverable must be submitted What needs to be submitted The format in which it must be submitted Where it must be submitted
