HS - Geography  Given a diagram that shows the elevation, latitude, and landforms of a region use this information to predict the region’s climate.  Given a map of locations on earth, correctly identify their latitude and longitude  By analyzing a landform map write a persuasive paragraph that describes where a human settlement would most likely succeed in the given area.  In two paragraphs, explain how the population of the earth has changed over time and list three potential problems due to overpopulation  In two paragraphs, discuss the effects of the Vietnam War on Vietnam and the United States  In a paragraph, evaluate the environmental impact of an introduced species to Australia  Correctly identify and label the countries of southeast Asia and the South Pacific  In two paragraphs, describe the success that Japan has had managing its ecosystem and the failure that Australia has had in managing its ecosystem.  In several paragraphs describe the 3 Gorges Dam, why it should and why it should be built with two pieces of support for each argument  In an essay of three paragraphs, compare Buddhist beliefs to your own beliefs.  In an essay of at least 4 paragraphs you must describe what it is like to live in an urban area of India.  In at least two paragraphs explain how Judaism, Christianity, and Islam interact in the Middle East.  Create a Venn diagram that compares/contrasts Judaism, Christianity, and Islam  In an essay of at least 5 paragraphs, explain the cause of the Palestinian/Israeli Conflict and what could be done to end it  Create a diagram that explains the Latin American system of race and then compare it to the US version.  In a paragraph explain how warm air, wind shear, and rotation can create tornadoes in the US.
