Curriculum

The period of conception, pregancy, childbirth and breastfeeding is a period of deep experience of bliss. Women and also men are therefore open to a spirituality close to life.

1. These experiences are: - Life is not to be planned in the whole - Medicin and technic promises happiness, but reality is shaped by fears - Life and death and illness are near together. Both happens in the female body - The power of women enables New Life, the miracle of creation. - Human life means relationship

2. Traditional theology, language and rituals, of the churches are no longer understood, because they - have a negative meaning of female body - they don`t consider modern medical-technical possibilities (chances) - baptism is more important than childbirth - they don`t empower women

It is necessary to start a new language, new rituals, new spirituality. This gives women and men the chance to find spiritual powers, integrated in the network of the cosmos and human beings. This will be an antipower to the concept of risque by technical medicin.

3. Childbirth can be understood as creation, the mother as co-creator - All human beings have this way into life - Birth is encounter with the holy, an elementar lifeforce, vitality - Midwifes are working near on this creation

4. The child in the womb experiences transcendence: - Growth, conversion, placenta as source ot power - Near-death experience, fear and confidence, to be accepted or refused - Mothers voice as vox coelestis - the Great movement

5. Spiritual roots in the bible have to re-read and new interpreted - The bible is obscured by translation and male commentators - People in ancient Israel includ their prenatal life in their view on life

6. The female body is worthy to symbolize the Divine - the archaic and elementary image of Go dis not hierarchical - Gods image as woman giving birth and as widwife - Gods wombeness carrying, noutriing - Sensation oceanique
