Late Work Assignments will NOT be accepted late unless class was missed as the result of an excused absence. If this occurs, only the amount of time absent will be given to make up the work.

Materials Everyday classroom necessities are required (pen, pencil, paper etc…) and will not be provided by the teacher. All students must have a pencil for each test given for the duration of the course. Textbook Points Textbooks are an integral part of performing well in this class. Textbooks will be required every other class. During these days they are required for class assignments. Points will be assessed for textbooks as a participation grade. Each quarter 50 points will be assessed as textbook points.

Expected Classroom Behavior No talking while others are talking, you will receive the same respect. No eating, drinking, or personal hygiene application in the classroom. All bags including backpacks and handbags must remain on the floor under the desk. Be on time to class. Come to class prepared…ex: Pen/pencil, paper, completed homework… If caught cheating, all papers will be thrown out. Remain seated until excused from class. Make sure the floor and area around your desk is clear of debris. All electronic devices must remain out-of-sight and on silent mode. Come with a positive attitude.

Consequences of disrupting the class First offense: Verbal warning Second offense: Student-Teacher conference Third offense: Phone call home Fourth offense: Referral

Tardy Policy The school wide tardy policy will be upheld; however, an additional classroom tardy policy will be set in order to keep classroom disruption to a minimum. All students must be in their assigned seats at the time the bell rings with the current event sheet on their desk; if they do not do so five points will be taken away for every offense from the bonus category assessed each term.
