Co n s e qu e n ce s For students who choose not to follow the above rules and expectations, there will be many consequences to follow that fit the behavior. G r a din g All grades will be recorded on a points system. If an assignment is worth 25 points, the grade recorded will be the number correct out of 25 points. Most tests will be recorded as a number of points out of 100, but some tests may total to over 100 points. The greater the amount of points an assignment or test is worth corresponds to the importance of that assignment/ test and should give your child an idea of how much time to spend on it. There may also be rubrics to let your child know how well he/she met all the objectives for that assignment, quiz, test, project, etc. H o m e w o r k Students will be asked to read and respond to the literature in a variety of ways. All of which, will be explicitly demonstrated in class. Late assignments will be docked half credit. Missing assignments will be denoted with a zero on ProgressBook.
