The revised Windermere Strategy has identified 6 Key Management Issues  Access and Transport

 Tourism Economy

 Recreation Use of the Lake

 Flooding and High Water

 Drought and Low Water

 Water Quality and Bio Diversity

The remit of the WLUF is to  Provide advice and comment to help deliver the Windermere Management Strategy.

 Act as a consultative forum for the Lake District National Park Authority and South Lakeland District Council.

 Accurately and objectively gather the views of Windermere lake users and provides advice on issues affecting them.

 Receive reports on the delivery of the Windermere Management Strategy. It is proposed to structure the agenda around these themes, plus five business headings.

 Matters arising. These have been included in the topic areas where possible  Consultations

 Future Development Plans including budget setting

 Information and Communication

 Any Lake User Issues that may sit outside these headings.
