Narrator: In a sunny morning, at school… Rebecca: Hi, Ruby, Vivian and Daisy. Ruby, Vivian & Daisy: Hello! Rebecca: What were you just talking about? Ruby: We were talking about Inky Lucy. Rebecca: Oh, I don’t think Lucy is an interesting topic. Let’s talk about the weekend plan. Ruby, can you go shopping with me this weekend? Ruby: In your dreams. Rebecca: Oh, no! You let me down again Linda: Then what about me? I am more beautiful than Rebecca. Ruby: Well, not in your life! Linda & Rebecca That's bitter. Vivian: She is the campus queen. You two are not qualified to be her friend. Rebecca &Linda: Oh~ campus queen! Ruby: Yes, I am the campus queen. Someday I will be a super model and marry a rich guy. Vivian & Daisy: Of course! Vivian: Mmm….It smells bad here, just like something in toilet. Daisy: It's Inky Lucy. She is a freak. Vivian: Oh, she is so far away, but we can still smell her! Disgusting! Daisy: I feel like to puke. Linda: Actually, I know a secret about her. Daisy: Oh, I love secret. Say it! Say it now, please... Linda: I heard others said she lives in a dump. Ruby, Vivian & Daisy: She lives in a dump? Linda: Yes. Narrator: Kevin and Inky Lucy come to their friends. Vivian; Hey, look! Here comes the prince, Kevin. Daisy; And... Inky Lucy. Kevin: Hi, everyone. Ruby: Kevin, you look nice today! Kevin: Oh! Thank you. Ruby: Kevin, do you have free time to go out with me this weekend? Kevin: I am going to see a movie with Lucy this weekend. Ruby: How disappointing! Kevin, I think you should not go with Lucy. Vivian: She always wears a dirty shirt!

1 Daisy: She is so nasty. Kevin: Why are you always so acrid? You don’t really know her well! Lucy: Kevin, don’t say anything for me. It’s true. I am just so disgusting. Kevin : But… that’s not true! They have problem understanding you. Vivian: I don’t think Lucy is my friend. I don’t have such a friend with such a nasty smell. Ruby: Inky Lucy, piggy Lucy, stupid Lucy, go away, go away! Kevin: You are so rude to Lucy. Lucy: Forget it, Kevin, let’s go. Narrator: Kevin and Lucy leave their friends. Ruby: Kevin is so charming even though he’s angry with me. Vivian & Daisy: He is so handsome! Vivian: Because of your beauty, he has fallen in love with you. Ruby: I think so, too. Oh…why am I so beautiful? The pond is like a mirror, and I can enjoy my beauty here. Vivian & Daisy: Ruby, watch out! Ruby: Ah- Narrator: Ruby falls into the pond. Ruby: Help! Help! Vivian: I can’t swim! I can not save her. Daisy: Me neither. Help! Anybody… help! Vivian & Daisy: Somebody…anybody…please help us! Narrator: Kevin hears the shout and comes with Lucy to the pond. Kevin: What’s going on here? Vivian & Daisy: Ruby is drowning. Kevin, please save her!! Kevin: I……..I………. can’t…… Kevin, Vivian & Daisy: Wait! Lucy… Narrator: Lucy jumps into the pond and saves Ruby. Ruby: Help! Help! Kevin, Vivian & Daisy: Help her! Help her, please! Lucy: Ruby……Ruby! Wake up! Wake up! Can you hear me? Ruby~~ Ruby: Oh….(Cough~), Kevin, is that you? (Holds Lucy.) Lucy: Mmm…I’m Lucy. (Shocked.) Daisy: Ruby, you scared me. Lucy saved your life Kevin: Yes, she is a heroine.

2 Lucy: Say nothing. Let’s take her to the health center. Vivian, Daisy & Kevin: Okay Narrator: Ruby is sent to the health center. Ruby: Thanks for your help. Kevin: You should thank to Lucy. Ruby: Of course. Kevin: Never look down on people. Ruby: Okay. Narrator: After school, Lucy meets Ruby on the way home. Ruby: Lucy, I want to give you a present to thank what you did for me. Can you give me your home address? So, I can send the present to you and play with you at your home. Lucy: Sorry, I have to turn you down. Ruby: Why? Lucy: Because…I am ……really busy…..and……my home is far, far away. Ruby: Oh…I see. Lucy: Ok….., I got to go. See you. Narrator: Lucy leaves Ruby.. Rebecca: It’s so weird that she’s never told us where her home is. Linda: Hey, I have an idea. We can follow her back. Kevin: It’s rude! Linda: Not at all. We just want to know where she lives. And we want to play with her. Ruby: Okay, let’s go. Narrator: Lucy comes back home. And her classmates follow her and peep into her house. Lucy: Mom, I’m home… Mom! Mom! Lucy’s mother: (Cough.)I’m here, Lucy. Lucy: What happened? Are you all right? Lucy’s mother: (Cough.) I’m all right. Don’t worry about me. (Cough.) Lucy: Mom, let’s go to see a doctor, OK? Lucy’s mother: No, no… We can’t afford it. (Cough.) Lucy: Mom, I’ll go out and pick up more cans for exchanging money. Oh! It’s too late. I have to go out and do it now. Bye. Lucy’s mother: Take care~

Vivian: Hey, we can help her to pick up cans. Ruby: The more empty cans she has, the more money she will earn. Kevin: Just do it. Ruby, Vivian, Daisy, Kevin, OK, Let’s go! Linda & Rebecca: Narrator: In the dump. Ruby, Vivian, Daisy, Kevin, Lucy, we want to say sorry to you. We decide to help you pick up more Linda & Rebecca: cans. Lucy: (Cry, and wipe tears) So, now you all know why I am “Inky Lucy?” Kevin: Yes, we all know about your situation now. Lucy: I am so touched you come here to help me. Thank you! Ruby, Vivian, Daisy, Kevin, Never mind! Linda & Rebecca: Lucy: You give me power and love. You make me know I am not alone. Thank you very much. All: Never look down on anyone. You can accept everyone. And help each other in the time of need. Open your heart, And open your mind. Open your thoughts, And open your eyes. Open up. Open up. You know you can.
