I understand that serving in an elected position on the International Student Assembly is a 1- year commitment. I also understand that I must leave at least 2 hours free every week for the

Executive Board Information

Executive Director  Responsible to the Assembly and to Program Board’s Executive Director  Act as the spokesperson for the Assembly  Moderate and preside over Executive Board and the General Assembly meetings  Represent the Assembly in the Program Board of the Student Senate.  Uphold the rules and regulations of the Executive Board  Act as a liaison between the University administration and ISA member organizations.  Make him/herself available to hold regular office hours of 12 hours per week as a minimum. (This is a paid position)

Assistant Director  Assume the duties of the President in the event of absence.  Act as liaison with the member organizations.  Uphold the sense of teamwork within the Executive Board and the Assembly.  Assist and aid the President in the administrative duties of the Assembly.  Minimum of 4 hours of office work each week. (This is a unpaid position)

Director of Finance  Establish ISA’s budget allocation to assure the optimum expenditure of ISA budget  Search and initiate fundraising opportunities for ISA.  Responsible for providing each member organization with the requested funds upon approval by the Assembly.  Maintain an updated account of the Assembly’s income and expenditures.  Minimum of 4 hours of office work each week. (This is a unpaid position)

Director of Programming and Development  Coordinate the Assembly’s and events.  Assist in coordination of member organization’s activities and events.  Minimum of 4 hours of office working each week. (This is a unpaid position)

Director of Public Relations  Responsible for maintaining good working relations with the University administration, student groups, and other ISA related entities.  Act as a liaison among various member organizations and to be a generator for the internal and external communications.  Act as an advertising consultant to each member organization.  Minimum of 4 hours of office work each week. (This is a unpaid position)

Director of Technology  To be responsible for maintenance of the I.S.A. website, in cooperation with the Public Relations Chairperson.

 To be responsible for maintenance and efficiency of I.S.A. equipment.  To coordinate and support management for hardware and equipment for I.S.A. activities.  To make him/herself available by holding regular office hours of four (4) hours per week as a minimum.  Election for Director of Technology: The election will be made by the General Assembly from two candidates picked by the Executive Board. If you are applying for this position, you should submit a portfolio of your website experience; also you should be prepared for an interview.
