1. The kitten has had his/her vaccination as described in the medical record.

2. All kittens/cats are sold with a one year health guarantee against any congenital birth defects (FeLV, FIV, and FIP are not genetic and are specifically excluded). In the unlikely event of death of this kitten/cat due to genetic abnormalities (proof is to be provided to the Breeder in the form of a detailed autopsy report and a letter written by a licensed veterinarian stating the exact cause of death, and including the description of the kitten/cat's date of birth, name, sex, color and pattern), the Breeder will replace kitten/cat with one of the equal quality (if available) or refund the Buyer's purchase price.

3. To activate the health guarantee, buyer must have the kitten examined within 72 hours by a veterinarian of your choice to ensure the kitten is of good health and to ensure the medical records I supply you with at the time you take the kitten home, is valid. Kittens are non-returnable unless a licensed veterinarian states there is a health problem. A copy of this certification must be supplied to me within 2 weeks of taking your kitten home. Seller reserves the right to have a second opinion of her choice and to replace the kitten of comparable quality and value, as available, and if deemed necessary.

6. If buyer has other cats, this kitten MUST be isolated until veterinarian clearance is obtained.

7. The buyer must have kitten examined on a routine schedule as prescribed by their veterinarian.

8. Under no circumstances will this kitten/cat be sold, leased or given to any pet shop, research laboratory or similar facility.

9. Kitten should not be allowed outside unsupervised. This pet is being sold as an indoor pet. While outdoors, the cat must be kept in a carrier, in an enclosed run designed for outdoor exercise for cats, or on a leash at all times.

10. Prairie Ridge Tonkinese is against de-clawing. De-clawing, in effect, is amputating the lower part of each of the cat’s toes! Clip nails bi-weekly and provide a scratching post.

12. If the kitten is purchased as a pet or show and not for breeding purposes, it must be spayed/neutered by eight months of age. Registration papers will be mailed to you after Prairie Ridge Tonkinese receives documentation (surgery record/receipt) of the kitten’s successful spay/neuter.
