All kittens/cats are sold with a one year health guarantee against any congenital birth defects (FeLV, FIV, and FIP are not genetic and are specifically excluded). In the unlikely event of death of this kitten/cat due to genetic abnormalities (proof is to be provided to the Breeder in the form of a detailed autopsy report and a letter written by a licensed veterinarian stating the exact cause of death, and including the description of the kitten/cat's date of birth, name, sex, color and pattern), the Breeder will replace kitten/cat with one of the equal quality (if available) or refund the Buyer's purchase price.</p><p>3. To activate the health guarantee, buyer must have the kitten examined within 72 hours by a veterinarian of your choice to ensure the kitten is of good health and to ensure the medical records I supply you with at the time you take the kitten home, is valid. Kittens are non-returnable unless a licensed veterinarian states there is a health problem. A copy of this certification must be supplied to me within 2 weeks of taking your kitten home. Seller reserves the right to have a second opinion of her choice and to replace the kitten of comparable quality and value, as available, and if deemed necessary.</p><p>6. If buyer has other cats, this kitten MUST be isolated until veterinarian clearance is obtained.</p><p>7. The buyer must have kitten examined on a routine schedule as prescribed by their veterinarian.</p><p>8. Under no circumstances will this kitten/cat be sold, leased or given to any pet shop, research laboratory or similar facility.</p><p>9. Kitten should not be allowed outside unsupervised. This pet is being sold as an indoor pet. While outdoors, the cat must be kept in a carrier, in an enclosed run designed for outdoor exercise for cats, or on a leash at all times.</p><p>10. Prairie Ridge Tonkinese is against de-clawing. De-clawing, in effect, is amputating the lower part of each of the cat’s toes! Clip nails bi-weekly and provide a scratching post.</p><p>12. If the kitten is purchased as a pet or show and not for breeding purposes, it must be spayed/neutered by eight months of age.
