General BCC Posting Period Employers will:  post opportunities, establish resume collection deadlines, instruct students how to apply  review resumes of students meeting the QUALIFICATIONS stated in BCC  state if academic credit is required, therefore only students eligible for credit may apply  select candidates, conduct interviews, and extend offers to candidates  interview on-campus, off-campus, by phone or via skype (especially students studying abroad)

Intern Period  Work schedules are negotiated between student and employer based on the needs of both parties within fall, spring and summer semesters, as noted below.  Employment may continue after the academic intern period, but no additional credit may be earned.

STUDENTS EARNING ACADEMIC CREDIT ONLY: Learning Agreement/Employer Evaluations/Student Self- Assessment

Learning Agreement is located in your Banner Internship Enrollment Account. It your provides you with the responsibilities of the employer, professor and intern and instructions on how to create measurable objectives.

The following documents are also in your account for you to complete with your site supervisor.

Download forms: Schedule Form, Mid-Performance and Final Performance Evaluations Follow directions provided on each form and upload to Banner . The Professor will receive electronic message when you upload . He/She will review and consider evaluations as part of your final grade . Complete online Student Assessment Form and submit. This provides you with reflection on skills you have developed and provides Career Center with your evaluation of the internship experienced.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS  Excellent opportunities in the United States, plan wisely! Can take 3 months or more to prepare appropriatedly following Immigration and Homeland Security Policies.  Familiarize yourself with OPT/CPT policies to intern/be hired in United States by meeting with Career Coach in the Amica Center for Career Education and/or Center for Diversity and Inclusion.
