Preliminaries Schedule Saturday 7:00 am (EDT) Meet at HHS, load any additional equipment on trailer and… 7:30 am (EDT) Depart for Riverdale High School 8:30 am (CDT) arrive @ Riverdale, and begin unloading trailer 9:00 am (CDT) Report to dressing area 10:00 am (CDT) warm up time 10:30 noon (CDT) travel time to gate 10:45 am (CDT) 11:45 (EDT) PERFORMANCE 11:00 am pictures (if they do pictures this year) 5:00-5:30 pm announcement of Finalists Finals Schedule The top 10 highest scoring bands of the day (there are 26 of the best division 1A bands in the state participating) will be selected to perform again in Finals. Finals begin around 6:30 and performance times will be determined by a draw on the field during the 5:00 announcement. We were 12th last year so there is a real possibility we could fall into the top 10 this year so be prepared.

Additional Information  All times for events in Murfreesboro are listed in Central Daylight Time (CDT)  The time change from DST to standard time occurs this weekend. DON’T FORGET to set your clocks back Saturday night!!!  Spectator Tickets are available from Mr. Hix for $12.00 apiece. It will save you time entering if you purchase them in advance.  If we don’t make finals we will arrive at HHS around 10:00 pm  If we do make finals we will arrive around 2 or 3 am Sunday morning.  Be aware that the weather could be anything from hot to freezing this time of year. If we make finals, there is a pass and review that will require us to stand on the field for up to an hour at around 11:00 pm. You MUST bring appropriate clothes for the weather. If you need a heavy coat let me know beforehand. Pay attention to your hands, head and feet. If they are warm the rest of you should stay warm. Pity will NOT be bestowed on anyone not heeding this warning!!!  REMEMBER to make sure YOUR personal instrument, uniform, hat, gloves, shoes, BLACK SOCKS (full length black socks), and/or equipment is placed on the bus or trailer before we leave!!! Don’t rely on a friend to do this!! They really DON’T like you and will not do it for you!!!
