 RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests include motivation and its cognitive and emotional consequence such as engagement, achievement and happiness. In order to increase learners’ satisfaction and achievement, I would like to (1) figure out the impact of motivation on them, and (2) investigate individual and environmental factors to develop motivation. I am especially interested in the way to increase learner’s initiative from SDT perspective, and environmental support including school and family as well as the society. The ultimate purpose of my research is helping learners to be self-regulated with enjoyment in learning.
