EDMUND BURKE ACADEMY

SPARTAN FOOTBALL

January 2, 2017

Dear Alumni, Friends, and Family,

As the 2017 football season approaches the Spartan Football Team at Edmund Burke Academy is in desperate need of new uniforms. The uniforms that are currently being used by the school have seen better days. Through five seasons of play the uniforms have seen a lot of action. Over 50 games have been played wearing these uniforms. In order to keep the program growing and moving in the right direction, these new uniforms are vital. Our athletes have been working hard all season long and have continued this work ethic into the off season, with participation in the off season weight lifting program at an all time high.

The goal of the administration and coaching staff is to reward our students for their hard work with brand new Adidas football uniforms. Just like many other GISA school covering the cost of these uniforms can be a difficult task to accomplish. Our program has selected a stock model uniform that will bring a sense of pride to the football players of Edmund Burke Academy. These athletes deserve to wear their uniforms with confidence and with these new uniforms that can be a reality. After months of researching uniforms and comparing prices of the different uniform models, the uniforms have been selected.

The new uniforms will cost $8,000 dollars. That cost includes 40 new home and away football jerseys. The Athletic Department at Edmund Burke Academy is seeking donations to help offset this cost. Checks should be made payable to EBA Football Jersey Drive. The Jersey Drive will run until March 1, 2017. A donation letter will be issued to the donor for tax purposes.

Thank You Alumni, Friends, and Family for your consideration and your donations to our Student Athletes and Football Team. We hope these new uniforms represent every Spartan that has worn the Red and White of Edmund Burke Academy. GO BIG RED!!!

Thank you,

Aaron Phillips Head Football Coach Edmund Burke Academy
