California State Physical Fitness Test Practice Sheet

This form is a Push-up/Sit-up log to assist in your practice for the California State Physical Fitness Exam. Please complete this daily practice, accompanied by a parent signature at the end of your 5 days. Your PE Teacher will inform you of your turn in day. A total of 25 Push-up and 25 Sit-ups are required nightly and are worth 5 points of your weekly grade. Correct form is everything! Remember, Ninety-degree angle in your arms and full extension rising up including straight body alignment throughout. Remember, Curl-ups require hands being in contact with the ground at all times and arms at your side. Feet stay on the ground, knees bent and head and shoulders should rise off the ground and return back to a laydown position with an immediate return to a curl-up position. Resting is not allowed during the test in between each curl-up. Videos can be found on Mrs. Corwin’s Edlio page.
