Latitude and Longitude
Lines of latitude and longitude describe the exact location of any place on Earth.
Latitude gives you the position north and south of the equator.
Longitude gives you the position east and west of the prime meridian.
Look over the worksheet we did in class. You will have to identify locations on a map using latitude and longitude. 6
Identify and spell correctly the locations on the next page. If the label is a letter then you are to write the continent. If the label is a number, you are to write the ocean.
