Overview Grading In this class students will explore the expressive qualities of clay and how to think 25% Homework visually in three dimensions. Students will acquire beginning hand building techniques including pinching, coiling, and slab. Student’s will also develop 50% Projects beginning skills on the potter’s wheel. Students will learn about diverse cultural 25% Studio Management traditions in ceramics and the historical development of pottery.

Finish sculpture and grade on rubric. 6/19/14 I can critique a sculpture. I can discuss art using the elements and principals of art. lab I can work on and complete my group sculpture.
