This Headspace Central Gippsland Division workshop is designed to develop your ability to use West Gippsland of General Practice Motivational Interviewing in order to resolve a young 16 Kirk Street, Moe persons ambivalence about changing behaviours, engaging in treatment, thus improving the young person’s intrinsic motivation and maintaining low levels of treatment resistance. Participants will be able to practice these skills by role- playing Motivational Interviewing assessment and behavioural change strategies based on a case study example. This Behaviour - Central West workshop is designed to advance practitioners skills in; Headspace Central Gippsland Division Managing barriers to engagement, such as reluctance; West Gippsland of General Practice Understanding aggression and managing aggressive 16 Kirk Street, Moe situations; Developing the ability to recognise signs of VIC 3825 self-harm and suicidal thoughts, the ability to talk about these topics, respond in a crisis and develop a safety plan for someone at risk of self-harm or suicide; Minimising the impact of stress and burnout for practitioners working with young people with challenging behaviours.
