1. Review of technical progress on project

Give an account of the progress that has been made on the project in the claim period now being claimed. The following bullet points are intended to be used as a guide and should be deleted from your report. It is not sufficient to simply reply to the prompts below. Include any relevant photographs to show progress. If the report lacks sufficient detail it will hold up the processing of your claim.

 Background to project – What were the objectives as originally set out?  What progress has been made?  Project milestones achieved  In the case of software projects list the software modules that have been worked on in the period of the claim.  Give the % completion of the listed modules  Indicate the work input by the various staff members listed.  Indicate the job function of the various staff members listed.  Do you have records of weekly/monthly project review meetings showing issues and action items?  Deliverables –What do you have to show for the expenditure claimed?  Can the prototype performance be demonstrated?  Technical breakthroughs  Market acceptance 2. Plan for completion  Completion status of project as a % of the total.  Include an updated project plan showing tasks and manpower input for the remainder of the project.  Have any significant technical problems been encountered?  What is the timetable for completion?  Will the company utilise the full grant or will some part get cancelled? 3. Material usage.  A clear account of the material usage must be given  What volume of material is used per trial/prototype?  How many trials were carried out?  What records of trial runs are available (log of results)?  Was there any cost recovery from the material used?  What happened to the material used? 4.
