Motorhome Manufacturer Auto-Trial Has Unveiled Its 2018 Model Range to UK Dealers

Motorhome manufacturer Auto-Trial has unveiled its 2018 model range to UK dealers.

As part of the 2018 launch, the company announced that Tribute will now be fully integrated into the Auto-Trail brand. The vehicles have been built in the company’s Grimsby production facility since last year, and the re-brand coincides with changes to the construction techniques used which brings the range in line with other Auto-Trail models.

Both the van conversation and coachbuilt models feature new worktops and fabrics throughout, and both are now available with the Drivers pack which includes, amongst other features, driver and passenger swivel seats, colour reversing camera with rear view mirror monitor and cab air conditioning. The coachbuilt models also have the option to include the Lux pack, which features a fully fitted microwave, removable bound edge carpets and 230V blown air heating and hot water upgrade amongst other features.

The layout of the 680 has been improved; the shower unit is now further back creating more space in the dining area allowing for a fixed table to be added.

Desirable u-shape lounge revealed in V-Line range

The V-Line range now features four SE models, three of which are now available with the Sports pack which includes a GRP moulded back panel with a gas strut boot. This allows the inclusion of an ever popular u-shaped lounge. The Sports pack also features flush fit side windows, an external shower point and a gas BBQ point in the boot as well as an exclusive soft furnishing scheme.

Auto-Trail’s media pack can now also be added to vehicles in the V-Line range.

New island layout for Imala

The popular Imala range has a new model for 2018. The 732 is based around a transverse island bed layout – the first model in this range to feature this customer favourite. The model is based on the company’s Tracker RB, but in a smaller and more affordable vehicle.

Once again, to address customer feedback the media pack is now available on this range of motorhomes. The interiors have all been refreshed and feature new upholstery and curved upper lockers which create a more spacious feel.

Auto-Trail’s second new model for this season is the Tracker LB. The rear island bed model takes its inspiration from the Frontier Delaware, and is available in both Hi-Line and Lo-Line options with up to four belted travel seats.

The whole Tracker range now benefits from uprated LED lights and new external features include Whale filler point and 12V plug for submersible pump.

Trackers, Apaches and Frontiers all feature a brand new power supply unit and touch screen control panel. Owners can access the system from their smartphone or through a web portal.

Opening the door for more UK customers

Also on display at the launch was the new Roller Team Pegaso.

Internally the layout remains the same, but with refreshed wood and upholstery. The most significant changes come on the outside of this A-class motorhome. It now features a habitation access door on the UK passenger side of the vehicle and a driver’s cab access door addressing the issue in previous editions of this van of the driver having to access the driving seat via the habitation door.

Russell Hensman, marketing manager for Auto-Trail, said that the market continues to look strong, especially for the Imala and Tribute ranges, and V-Line van conversions. “They are excellent value for money, and their weights mean that they can be driven by standard licence holders which makes them very attractive to the growing younger family market,” he said.

Russell also confirmed that they still have a few geographical gaps in their dealership network and are actively seeking new dealers to join the team.
