This Document Presents the Data Selected for an Analysis of the LTER 20 Year Review That

This document presents the data selected for an analysis of the LTER 20 Year Review that has led to the Planning Grant, and the links between each document. We’ve adopted David’s star system rating the documents according to their importance (three stars is a must). Note that several documents are still in html or doc formats because they contain images or tables, so must be reformated if they are to be coded using InVivo.

The materials have been grouped into five categories: overview, early materials, 10 year review materials, 20 year review materials and future planning. These map to the 3 decades of LTER science known as 1980-1990 the decade of long- term research; 1990-2000 the decade of large scale research; and 2000-2010 the decade of synthesis. It is important to note that the LTER Network Office (LNO) is distinct from the LTER Network, and the two are reviewed separately. The reviews included below are of the LTER Network.

OVERVIEW MATERIALS The LTER overview materials include a public relations brochure, its web site, and organization charts.
